Production planning and scheduling software that keeps the plan honest

ManufactINS is production planning and scheduling software for factories in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the GCC: it imports your production plan, schedules it with its links, re-forecasts it from the status date and shows the critical path and the options to recover a late order. Plans follow each plant’s working week and Egypt’s holidays and Ramadan, what-ifs run on a transparent capacity and cost model, and finite-capacity scheduling is set up in the pilot.

What the production planning and scheduling software does

  1. Import the plan you already haveFrom Excel, Primavera P6 (.xer) or Microsoft Project (.xml); a routing in standard hours becomes working days. Every file is previewed before anything is saved.
  2. Schedule with its linksFinish-to-start, start-to-start and finish-to-finish links with lags, on the plant’s working calendar, so dates skip rest days and holidays.
  3. Re-forecast from the status dateProgress against plan, lateness against each delivery date, the critical operations, and replan options such as overlapping work or acting on slow operations.
  4. Capacity by work centreLoad against capacity, and the levers: overtime, a third shift, or moving work to another qualified work centre.
  5. A plan for every operatorFrom the roster and the plan’s assignments: each person’s operations for the next three weeks, and whether they are on track, behind or free today.
  6. What-if scenariosA demand change, a machine outage, a late material or an added shift, run on a transparent capacity, throughput and cost model; each run is saved and can be repeated.

Set up in your pilot

  • Finite-capacity scheduling that sequences jobs on each work centre is set up in the pilot.
  • Full MRP — the bill of materials exploded against the master schedule — is set up in the pilot.
  • Scenario baselines on your plant’s own data are set up in the pilot.

In Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the GCC

Egypt

Plans follow the Egyptian working calendar: a six-day week with Friday off, Egypt’s public holidays and reduced output in Ramadan, so forecasts skip rest days and stretch work in Ramadan.

Saudi Arabia

A Riyadh plant rests on Friday and Saturday and keeps Riyadh time, and overtime is priced in riyals under Saudi Labour Law article 107 — set up for your plants in the pilot.

UAE and the GCC

A plant can be set to Dubai time and plans work in Arabic and English; UAE public holidays are set up in the pilot.

How to choose

  • It imports the plan you already keepExcel, Primavera or Microsoft Project — a tool that makes planners retype the plan will not be used.
  • It respects your calendarWeekends, public holidays, Ramadan and shifts must move the dates, or every forecast is wrong by the same days.
  • It shows why a date movedStatus date, links and the critical path should explain every slip, not just report it.
  • Finite or infinite capacityAsk whether jobs are sequenced on finite capacity per work centre, and whether people can still change the sequence.

Frequently asked questions

What is production planning and scheduling software?

It turns orders into a dated plan of operations on machines and people, and keeps that plan current as work runs late or early. Production management software adds the follow-up: progress, capacity and recovery.

Can it import our Excel or Primavera plan?

Yes: Excel workbooks (every sheet tried), CSV, Primavera P6 .xer and Microsoft Project .xml, with English or Arabic headers.

Does it do finite-capacity scheduling?

Yes. Scheduling has a finite-capacity schedule: the open jobs placed on each line’s working machines, shift by shift and with their changeovers, so no line is given more hours than its machines have. It compares four sequencing rules against the due dates, shows what a third shift or a rest-day shift changes and what it costs, and the planner chooses. An imported plan is still scheduled with its own links on the working calendar, with load against capacity per work centre.

Does it include MRP?

Yes. From the first day it compares usage with stock on hand and flags shortages, and full MRP — the bill of materials exploded against the master schedule — is set up in the pilot.

Does it plan around Ramadan and public holidays?

For Egyptian plants, yes: Friday rest, Egypt’s public holidays and reduced output in Ramadan are in the calendar. A Riyadh plant rests on Friday and Saturday.

Does it work with our ERP?

Yes. It works alongside your ERP — SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or Odoo — which is connected during the pilot for purchase orders and tasks, while the ERP keeps the ledger, payroll and e-invoicing.

How much does it cost, and is there a free version?

Access starts with a guided demo: the Epsilon team shows ManufactINS on demonstration plants, then agrees a pilot on one plant or one line, with its scope, measures and price set up front. Requesting a demo never creates an account.

ManufactINS is not self-serve: the Epsilon AI team walks you through it on sample data, then arranges individual, time-limited access. Sending the request never creates an account. In English and Arabic.
